Peaches for a Purpose
The Perfect Peach is proud to give back.
Each year, The Perfect Peach chooses a cause close to our hearts and this year, we’re standing with some of the bravest kids and families you’ll ever meet. In 2025, we’re donating 10% of all our earnings to debra.org to support those affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) a rare and devastating skin condition often called “the worst disease you’ve never heard of.”
What is EB?
Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a group of rare genetic disorders that cause the skin to be incredibly fragile. Even the slightest friction like a hug, diaper change, or the seams of clothing can cause painful blisters and open wounds. For children born with EB, daily life is filled with pain, risk of infection, and hours of wound care. There is no cure.
EB is classified by how deep the blistering occurs in the skin, with the most severe forms often leading to scarring, disfigurement, and, tragically, early death. The condition affects every aspect of life from eating and walking to simply being touched.
Why It Matters
EB doesn’t just damage skin it breaks hearts, strains families, and often leaves caregivers isolated and overwhelmed. But through awareness, research, and direct support, we believe change is possible. These kids and adults are warriors. Their families are heroes. And they shouldn’t face this alone.
What Debra of America is Doing
Debra of America is the leading nonprofit in the U.S. dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by EB. They:
- Fund research for treatments and a cure
- Provide wound care supplies to families in need
- Offer support programs for patients and caregivers
- Advocate for awareness and policy change
They are a lifeline to hundreds of families and with your help, we can support their critical mission.
